The best day

Tuesday I headed to the beach with my Girlfriend Melany to just spend the day hanging out. Since I was trying to be a kind person and focus more on her than my camera, I didn't walk out with all to many shots. Here are four of my favorite from the trip. Let me know what you think. Much Love.

Beach Again?

Yet again I visited the beach, this time with the family on a camping trip. I spent about four hours out on Monday afternoon hitting the beach and different spots. I saw these cool wooden pallets off in the distance so I pulled over and walked through waist high grass to get a shot of them. Long story short I got hives on my legs and it wasn't worth it. This day at the beach was my very first day shooting manually as well. So let me know what you think.

Brother Double Date, Beach Style

I headed out to the beach Monday morning with my little brother, as well as my best friend and his little brother. The trip was somewhat last minute but it was an excuse to get out and see the beach. We ended up going to Seaside, then to Canon beach for lunch at Mo's. We ultimately ended up at Arcadia Beach which holds so many memories. Arcadia Beach is where about 4 years ago, Myself, as well as my brothers youth group almost died (funny story). However Arcadia the beach where my Brother and Sister in law got engaged. So these pictures are for them, Love you guys.

Portland at Sunset

After a long boring day at work, I decided hit downtown Portland with my friend Melany. We walked the waterfront on the west side, and eventually walked to east side of the river as well. While on the east side of the river we caught the sunset and it was an absolutely amazing view. Let me know what you think. Enjoy...

Day Two With Camera, AKA Gorge

I decided to hit the Gorge yesterday with my best friend Joey and my new camera. The weather was cloudy at first but pulled out and it turned out to be an amazing day. We first hit Oneonta falls, which in order to get to it you must walk through waist deep ice cold water, which was fun on the warm day. We came across a frog in the water who was more than willing to let me take a billion pictures of him from about 5 inches away. We next went to Horsetail falls and up to trail to Ponytail and eventually Triple Falls. It was a warm day filled with about 7 miles of hiking and it was absolutely surreal. New Camera!

Finally after months of research and waiting around, I bought myself a Canon Rebel XT. It arrived today at 6 pm, however I had to be at work at 7:30. It didn't stop me from leaving my house right away and on the way to work pulling off at a elementary school to take some shots of a old baseball diamond. Then after work I was taking out the trash and ran across some skaters who got nervous seeing as they were loitering on company property. I then asked if I could take some shots and they agreed. This is just day one with the new XT, Enjoy. Much more to come.
