Thanksgiving Beach

Toward the end of thanksgiving break I went to the beach for a day with my family. We enjoyed nice Oregon overcast weather as well as a nice dinner and bonfire.

Enjoy

Covert Operations Photography...A New Specialty

A good friend of mine asked me if I would be interested in taking pictures of his engagement. I got very exited seeing as this could be the launch of my business' new covert ops photography. Stephen and Cheryl, thanks for letting me be a part of your story and I wish you two the best of luck.

After the engagement my two brothers, sister in-law and I headed to a lookout point. This was especially entertaining seeing as there was hurricane force winds going on up there.

Enjoy the Pictures, More to come in the week

Hometown Hangout

On Wednesday of thanksgiving break I headed to Seattle with my Brother and Sister In-Law. We first had lunch with my Dad and then hit the town. Pikes place was our first stop. The most fun part here was meeting a guy on the street who had a very well trained parrot. By very well trained I mean he JUGGLED his parrot and did all sorts of tricks with him. After Pikes Place we went to my Dads for dinner and I got to meet my new step Nephew. Enjoy the pictures!

Thanksgiving Break

Well it has been a while since a blog post and there is a lot to catch up on. These next few posts are from thanksgiving break. I was fortunate enough to fly home to be with my whole family. As for right now I am sitting in the airport waiting to board my flight. Story Time.

My Dad drove me to the airport this morning and we finally got to the airport then as we were pulling to the curbside drop off then the whole car jolts forward. I quickly turn around and notice that a Dodge Ram was uncomfortably close. Sure enough we had been hit reasonably hard. I rushed in and got through security and hopefully all is well and no pains will arise.

Enjoy the posts from this break.

Fine Art for Sale!

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I have had a post and so much has happened. I have 3 more blog entries coming in the next couple days, so stay tuned.

One of my main passions is doing fine art. I love taking pictures of the great outdoors and anything in between. I do have a fine art section in my website, and for the next two weeks I'm selling 8x10 prints matted and framed in a 11x14 frame for only $45 each! This includes shipping and everything.

You can view my fine art section here

Here is a Picture I took a week or so ago when my little brother was in town. It reminded me of home and made me happy, so I thought I would share.

Enjoy, Thomas

Miniature Earth

Nothing like putting things in perspective at 2:00 in the morning. The video below is called Miniature Earth, it is based on the concept that if the world was reduced down to only 100 people. I found this amazing and shocking, it puts things in perspective so much more than thousands of statistics on a huge scale. And since this is a "photoblog" I added a picture of myself taken right as I posted this. Let me know what you think.

P.S. Mom I know I should be in bed at 2:00am, Love You

Thanks, Thomas

Flaming Tennis

For pure thrill and to cure Sunday night Boredom we went to Wal-mart and bought some tennis balls, a half gallon of gasoline and a lighter. We wanted to play a friendly game of catch. The person with the idea claimed that you can hold it for a second or two without burning your hands, therefore you can catch and throw. Don't try this at home kids, we are trained professionals and have some college education....Don't worry, no one was hurt in this intense game of catch and no police were involved making this story a fun one. Sorry Mom.

Sarah and Shelby

So I finally got the opportunity to shoot a wedding on the 25th of August. The lucky bride and groom were friends of my brothers in college. So for pure fun I tagged along with my brother on this wedding shoot to gain some experience. Not knowing what to expect I was a little nervous about the wedding however it turned out to be fun and very relaxed. I hope every wedding could be this easy and relaxed. Let me know what you think....

PS..... I just launched my new website, check it out. There are even more wedding shots on my website

Blue Skies and Good Times

Today I spent my afternoon with recently engaged friends Jason and Deirdre and her daughter Madison. They wanted portraits done for Madison before I headed off to college. We went out to a sunflower field and once Madison got in the mentality that pictures were fun she was extremely photogenic. We then went to their favorite park after that and got some more shots. Afterwards Madison wanted to play hide and seek, and who could refuse such an offer. All in all it was a great shoot and I had alot of fun. Enjoy the pictures and let me know what you think.
